A good introduction to Genetics
I'm going to study genetics in college next year, and I was hoping I could get a head start.
I have looked at many books such as the Cartoon Guide to Genetics, Schaum's Outline Of Genetics, Genetics for Dummies, etc. But I was afriad of some of these books being either too advanced or too shallow... ... Well, this is you all's cue.

I was told that Schaum's Outline of Genetics is nto good for learning.... but if I have a decent understanding, will I be able to somewhat increase/solidify my knowledge?
