    Photodiode carrier transit time

Hello, I am having a bit of trouble with the following problem: Assuming a built in voltage equal to the bandgap voltage, calculate the slowest possible transmit time for a carrier with 5V reverse bias applied to the GaAs photodiode. I would be able to do this problem without difficulty if...

Cars and other forms of transit

I am looking for a book/s (yes I know this is the wrong section, but it will probably get more replies here :tongue2: ). I want a book/s that is a big overview of all the transit systems (US and Europe in particular) But I also want a huge emphasis on cars in the US. I do not want a book that...

    Principle of equal transit times

How does the principle of equal transit times works? the Bernoulli principle explains lift by high speed = low pressure but these relays on the fact that two particles of air living the same point A will arrive at the same point B at the same time and this is explained by the "principle of...

Sun Transit Time: Toronto vs Boston

Well, i know that sun transit time is when the center of the sun crosses an imaginary line (the meridian) in the sky of the observer (or the given city). But, what I'm not understanding is why the sun transit time is different when we compare Toronto and Boston. They are both relatively close...
