Global temperature anomaly and photosynthesis.

In summary, global temperature anomalies do not fluctuate rapidly due to photosynthesis. This is confirmed by the graph provided and supported by the explanation of the attribution of recent climate change, as well as the notes, references, and further reading provided on the topic.

Hi I was just wondering if the Global Temperature anomaly fluctuates up and down rapidly be cause of photosynthesis.
http://www.skepticalscience.com/images/co2_temp_broad.gif

see image above.

as you can see the red line fluctuates rapidly...is this photosynthesis, or is it because the average temp is not taken rather it shows max's and min's??

any links would be super awesome... I thought i remembered reading that it was from photosynthesis but I can't seem to find where.?

Thanks.

1. What is global temperature anomaly?

Global temperature anomaly refers to the difference between the current global average temperature and the long-term average temperature for a specific period of time. It is used to track changes in global temperature over time and to identify trends in global warming or cooling.

2. How is global temperature anomaly measured?

Global temperature anomaly is typically measured using land-based and satellite data from weather stations around the world. These data are then compared to a long-term average, usually a 30-year period, to determine the difference in temperature.

3. What factors contribute to changes in global temperature anomaly?

Changes in global temperature anomaly can be influenced by a variety of factors, including natural processes such as volcanic eruptions and solar activity, as well as human activities such as burning fossil fuels and deforestation. These factors can affect the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, which in turn can impact global temperatures.

4. How does global temperature anomaly impact photosynthesis?

Photosynthesis is the process by which plants use sunlight to convert carbon dioxide and water into energy. Global temperature anomaly can impact photosynthesis by altering the availability of sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide, which are all necessary for the process to occur. Changes in temperature can also affect plant growth and development, which can ultimately impact photosynthesis.

5. What can we do to address the effects of global temperature anomaly on photosynthesis?

To address the effects of global temperature anomaly on photosynthesis, it is important to reduce our carbon footprint by using renewable energy sources and practicing sustainable land management. This can help to decrease the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and mitigate the impacts of global warming on plant life and photosynthesis. Additionally, implementing conservation efforts and supporting policies that protect natural habitats can also help to maintain healthy ecosystems and support photosynthesis.
