For me, Event Horizon was very scary but had enough sci-fi and sci-real to it that it captivated me.
Some popular movies that got me interested in physics are Interstellar, Inception, and The Theory of Everything. As for music, songs like "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen and "Space Oddity" by David Bowie also sparked my interest in physics.
These movies and music often depict complex scientific concepts in a creative and engaging way, which made me curious to learn more about them. They also showed how physics can be applied in real-life situations, making it more relatable and interesting.
At first, some of the concepts were challenging to grasp, but the visual and auditory representations in the movies and music helped me understand them better. I also did further research and studied the principles behind these concepts to fully comprehend them.
My interest in physics has allowed me to appreciate the scientific accuracy and attention to detail in these movies and music. It has also made me more critical in evaluating the scientific plausibility of certain scenes or lyrics.
Definitely! I am constantly looking for ways to apply physics principles in my daily activities, whether it's calculating the trajectory of a thrown object or understanding the physics behind music and sound production. These movies and music have shown me the practical applications of physics in our world, making it more relevant and exciting.
