    Superconductors and Gravitomagnetism

Can this thread please just be deleted or something? I regret starting it. Sorry for wasting your time.

    Superconductors and Gravitomagnetism

It's what physicists do. I remember reading papers on what the universe would be like if certain physical aspects functioned differently. Completely pointless?

    Superconductors and Gravitomagnetism

Okay, valid point. But my question remains. Say that it is possible that superconductors enhance the effects of gravitomagnetism. What are some, or your own, theories associated with this? I don't want to debate the phenomenon's credibility.

    Superconductors and Gravitomagnetism

I was thinking perhaps nuclear spin, or these Cooper pairs I've been hearing about. I know it isn't a 'verified phenomenon', but neither are black holes and gravitational waves, although we are very confident in their existence. This aside, there would still be theories as to why and how this...

    Superconductors and Gravitomagnetism

How/why does a superconductor amplify the effects of gravitomagnetism? It must have something to do with a coherent movement of subatomic particles, right?

Which rule determines the direction of gravitomagnetism?

Do you use a left-hand or right-hand rule with gravitomagnetism?

    How Are Gravitational Waves Produced?

Thanks a lot for your help. With the dipole moment, do you mean that a star will not oscillate up and down, or that this motion won't release waves? Will the wave made by orbiting masses by transversal or helical?

    How Are Gravitational Waves Produced?

This might seem simple... I'm having a bit of trouble both finding and interpretting information on how a gravitational wave is produced. I know they are analogous to EM waves, and that they are produced by accelerating masses, but it's more complicated than that, isn't it? Can anyone...
