The answer book (Checking Your Solution) gives the final result as 13/60 = 13/60. Any idea how they came up with that? They don't show the work and we can't see the right path to take!
Also, what rule did it take to figure 3360/3600? We're missing that one, I'm afraid...
Thanks a bunch!
I don't know Keplers third law... and I still feel a little lost. PLEASE tell me this is as bad as the math is going to get! The sylabus actually states that all I need to know how to do is be able to "count my money" to get all the math correct. I've been a bartender and server for 8 years...
Hey guys - It's me again. Listen, I need help once more.
My husband and I have both tried to solve this equasion, and still can't match it to the answer book. Can anyone out there explain how we can put the answer back into the problem and it doesn't work out for us? What step are we...
Oh, MAN! Here's another...
How do I apply the same equation to find the M_jupiter , if Europa orbits a nearly perfect circle in 3.55 days to go around once. It's
6.71 x {10^5} km from Jupiters center...
I feel so lost...
So are my calculations correct for this being the answer?
9.8{m/s_^2} at Earth's surface,
19.6{m/s_^2} one radis up,
39.2 {m/s_^2} two radii up, or am I going in completely the wrong direction?
Honey, to me, this IS fancy math! LOL Thanks so much for your help. I'm working on the problem now, though I'm sure my mind is about 10 to the 5th slower than yours!
Thank you SO much!
Greetings!

I'm currently taking an online physics class because of my very full workload of 5 jobs, one being full time, another being very close to that, and the rest part time. (a...
