Graduate Physics / Biomechanics / Weightlifting Question
My questions is about the bar (not specifically) in this video: I want to know from somebody who has a better mechanical perception than me why the bar has the effect of wobbling back and forth. I think it's because the center of the mass of the system (not including the person) is low...- AnthonyLiardo

Undergrad Can a body have velocity and not move?
In regards to your reasoning, the formula F = m\cdota applies to the net force on a system. So the formula is really \sumF = m\cdota In regards to the first part, velocity is all relative. We're almost always thinking about being relative to the Earth so sometimes it's confusing. If an object...- AnthonyLiardo

Polar Coordinates Improper Integral Proofs
That's exactly what I did for part b. I have this assigned so I need some help on this problem as well. I don't know how to do part c yet. I took the equation from b, and divided by the e^(-(y^2)) integral and all I would have to do is prove that that integral equals √∏. I tried to say that...- AnthonyLiardo

Solutions of Differential Equations
The value f subscript x gives you the slope of the line tangent to f in the x direction. EDIT: I think. I learned this like 2 weeks ago.- AnthonyLiardo
