To prove this equation can exist or not hmm

The question is : Find an F(x) where fprime(-1) = 1/2 , fprime(0) = 0 and fdoubleprime>0 if it doesn't exist prove why. I cannnot explain it that well but here i go, i feel there is no equation that can be made for this. For an equation for be concave up on all intervals it must be in the...

Solving Calculus Problems: A & B Positive Numbers, fPrime & fDoublePrime

so showing that a= 1/(4-4b) a= (4b-1)/4b gotten from a(1-b) =1/4, b(1-a)=1/4 only intercept once shows that there is no where that this is true

Solving Calculus Problems: A & B Positive Numbers, fPrime & fDoublePrime

first problem : Let A and B be postitive numbers. SHow that not both of the numbers a(1-b) and b(1-a) can be greater than 1/4. second problem : Find a function f such that fprime(-1) = 1/2,fprime(0) = 0 and f doubleprime (x) >0 for all x, or prove that sucha function cannot exist. thanks...

    Identity for tan(x-y) = [tan(x) - tan(y)]/[1-tan(x)tan(y)]

Use the identity for tan(x-y) = [tan(x) - tan(y)]/[1-tan(x)tan(y)] to show that if two lines L1 and L2 intersect at angle theta then tan(theta) = m2-m1/(1 + m1m2) where m1 and m2 are the slopes of L1 and L2 respectivly. hmm ihave no idea where to start for this it doesn't make sense to me...

    Solving Questions on f(x) = x^2 + x and x/|x| at x=0

I kinda have a question and an answer check... well here's my check. Let f(x) = x^2 + x. For any readl number a, let Ty be the y-intrecept of the tangent line to f(a), let Nx and Ny be, respectivly, the x-intercept and y-intercepts of the normal line to f(a). SHow that a = 0 is the only value...
