    Reversible engines with different efficiencies

All Reversible Heat Engines have same efficiency when operating between the same two temperature reservoirs. This is proved by showing that there is a contradiction, if they do not. We set the two heat engines to be compared operating between the same two heat reservoirs. Assume one is more...

Calculating Distance and Time Using Constant Velocity

So in my calculation y=200 and we also have x=200 , imo that's a quarter of a circle. I understand your point, i also did at the beginning before you edited it , but the parabola may also ,when stretched, be a circle. Still, it might also undergo a parabolic motion and have x and y coordinates...

Calculating Distance and Time Using Constant Velocity

So what you are suggesting is that the graph of x-dispacement vs. y-displacement(or in your case porportional to time) is "the path". How do you think that such a thing is true ? I mean , if i stand up now and move forward with a constant accelerating velocity and then move backwards with a...

Calculating Distance and Time Using Constant Velocity

x=x°+V°*t+1/2*a*t(square)---->x=1/2*0.004*10000=200m I think this is the right answer and it's a quarter of a circle. Still not so sure, but everything seems to be fine with it.

What is the effect of temperature on coefficient of friction?

Well IMO we shouldn't even bother with such a thing. Unless the guy who posted about this really wants an answer.

What is the effect of temperature on coefficient of friction?

So what you mean is that water has a higher coefficient of kinetic friction than ice ? Nontheless there is no relation between temperature and the coefficient of friction , at least I haven't heard about it. Perhaps what the sir above me said is right sometimes , perhaps the other way around is...
