Yes that is correct, but you can leave out the 0 at the end of 13.7. When you Multiply or divide your answer should have the same amount of sig figs as the as the term with the least amount of Sig Figs.
ex 137.123 x 1556.1234 = 213380.309 not 213380.3089
I used the equation a^2 + b^2 = c^2 and the coodinates (6,-8) and (-8,3) to determine that the magnitude of A is 0.5cm and that the magnitude of B is 0.7cm. But I don't know if that is what is meant by "determine the two scalars a and b". I'm asuming scalars in this question is the scalar...
I saw this question posted yesterday, and now got a similar question to work out.
A = (6i-8j) cm
B = (-8i+3j) cm
C = (26i+19j) cm
aA+bB+C=0
Determine the two scalars a and b.
Ideas anyone??
Thanks

I was told to solve this non graphically. Can this problem be solved non graphically? If so, what are the appropriate steps involved. Really need to understand this stuff.
Vector A forms an angle θ with the positive part of the x axis. Find the components of A along x and y if:
a. |A| = 8...
Just got back into physics after 4 years in social science and I have forgotten how to convert cartesian coordinates to polar coordinates. The textbook I have makes no metion of it. probably bc I am expected to know this, but I can't remember. I remember how to calculate the distace between two...
