A problem with the standard solution of the two envelopes paradox

wouldn't you agree that X would = mystery envelope since the amount in the selected envelope in unknown. And since you have a 50-50 chance of having selected the 10$ (A) amount or the 20$(B) amount it would be somthing like: X <or> A/.5 + B/.5 if you want to make a huge problem out of it...

What exactly is a zero radius turn vehicle?

Well, if the front wheels turn left and the rear wheels turn right both still pushing in their respective forward direction the vehicle would most definitely be spinning...:)

What exactly is a zero radius turn vehicle?

Just look under a car at the front wheels and see how they turn...duplicate that for the front and back gearing them to the steering wheel...I'm sure with some effort and a few drawings you can come up with a proper design. Making the rear wheels turn left when the front turn right. The wheels...

Looking for a part, does it exist?

Maybe you can use some type of horse shoe clamping device that is actuated by magnetics within the block. i.e. using a small battery to activate two small electromagnets on either side of the U-clamp which would pull the clamp over the bar. You may even be able to employ a remote switch to it.

Can 3D TV be Achieved with Flat Platforms?

I have been thinking about a new 3D TV that uses a flat platform with millions of tiny tubes to project electric pulses that would be undetectable until it explode in mid air at different leangths and color orientation using a program that would calculate the amount of energy it would take for...

Convert Your Car to Run on Water: Plans, Drawings, and Reviews"

I am not schooled in this area but have read a few articles in which describe three methods of using water as a fuel. One and the most well known is steam which has to be heated to create preasure, therefore inadequate for modern day uses. Another uses an alkali metal ceasium (a rare gold...
