Will Superstring Theory Win a Nobel Prize by 2020?

Someone will win the Nobel Prize for Unified Field Theory, but not string theory So, if the bet includes any winning in any kind Unified Field Theory? But string theory will fail. Then how could one vote in this condition? Anyway, it's interesting.

Who give me some references to Kaluza-Klain's theoy in 5D?

I want to study the Kaluza-Klain's theory about general relativity in 5 dimensions. Could anyone give me some references to this subject? Thanks.

    About rotating reference system

I had finsihed some experiment on this. And you may find this regularity in the motion of tornados or typhoons near the poles of the earth. Of course you have to take the pressures from the air flows into account.

    About rotating reference system

No, the gyroscope isn't charged. It's neutral. The motion of a spinning gyroscope inside a rotating system is the same as the motion of a charge in a magnetic field(circumferential motion). So, the coriolis force to a spinning gyroscope inside a rotating system is equivalent to the magnetic...

    About rotating reference system

OK, I'd say directly, the equivalent magnetic force isn't the gravitomagnetic force. The most interesting thing I found is that, with the coriolis force, a spinning gyroscope will circle a center when it moves inside the cylinder in the plane which is perpendicular to the rotating axis(one may...

    About rotating reference system

Well, I can understand what you're saying. You're quite right at those points. But what I want to know about is if we can distinguish the rotation of the cyclinder and an equivalence magnetic field in side it when one thinks there is a magnetic force exert to the gyroscope or pendulum.

    About rotating reference system

Great, Creator, Where did you put your thread? I want to read all the discussions about it. I cannot find it now. Sure, I know one may think that the observer can judge the rotation of the cyclinder by a spinning gyroscope or something like that, such as a free single pendulum. Is it right? But...

    About rotating reference system

I seem remember somewhere there was a thread last year to discuss about what happens inside a rotating cylinder. It's to say if the obsever inside a rotating cylinder(big enough) can find out the motion state of the rotating cyclinder by experiments inside it. I would rather say no, just like...

Is Dark Matter Different from Black Matter?

Thanks Nereid for providing a useful link. As a Chinese, I come to the English webs for the first time. I read some article about these new theories in Chinese at the Chinese websites.among them is the System Field Theory in which it propose the universal magnetic interaction. Mostly, these new...

Is Dark Matter Different from Black Matter?

Dark matter is only a hypothesis The stars in the outer part of our galaxy move in a higher speed than what Newton's law is given. For example 60km more for our sun. This speed was proposed to be from Dark Matter that we can't see with light. The same thing happen in general relativity in which...
