CONGRATULATIONS TO HOSSI I am very curious about QG.if I want to study it,how can I do ?Can u give me some advice.thank u very much in advanced.:-)

Which books to read? Symmetry, Branes, LQG, etc.

thanks thank u very much for your advice. I am reading The quantum theory of fields (S.Weinberg) and STRING THEORY (Polchinski),D-branes(C.V.Johnson),and some books and papers from hep-th. I majord in particle physics.

Which books to read? Symmetry, Branes, LQG, etc.

I have the same problem:)I am a poor student. I always download ebooks in the internet.but not new books. I prefer books which talk about fundamental views in various physics theories .

    Solvay on Spacetime Quantum Structure

dear mike thank u very much marcus said that structure of time and space is small scale in quantum theory.i consider that if we can make a small black hole in lab and we suppose it to survive for a longer time, how we detect it's entropy?somebody argue that entropy decrease in detected process...

    Solvay on Spacetime Quantum Structure

dear marcus we know the black hole has entropy, and we deal with it as the structure of time and space.so i have an idea :the structure of time and space has entropy intrinsicly.when the universe expand, space and time also expand, then the intrinsic entropy will increase.of course ,wo avoid the...

    Solvay on Spacetime Quantum Structure

DEAR MARCUS What is the end of time and space? they will disappear in strings black holes? i can't imagine what happened in that moment, would u explain it for me ? thanks in advanced. best wishes for u.

't Hooft: an original train of thought

i like this paper , thank u. i think that the probability theory may be changed . i don't understand why the observors appear in the whole theory, what they can do? just observe the universe?they have ideas, but they can't change the results of physics! why?
