Signals & Systems Lectures Question
Although this is not an online lecture with this video you can hear Fourier transforms http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z65Xz_TR9S8&feature=channel_video_title for a "one on one" style of online lecture here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Od4hnJOzbc&feature=related- jvclark2

Discrete vs Continuous Time Impulse Signals
DT: the function is zero for all points not equal to 0 and equals 1 at 0 CT: the function is zero for all points not equal to 0, equals infinity at 1, but the total area under the impulse is 1- jvclark2

Voltage Increases When Connecting Multiple Batteries
To answer your question let's make a simple picture A---------(-V1+)------------(-V2+)----------B, o--> where V1 and V2 are your batteries. When an electron travels from point A and passes through point V1 there is a rise in the electric potential energy of the electron, similar to water flowing...- jvclark2

Why is x(t) + x(-t) always even regardless of x(t)'s nature?
1) x(t)+x(-t) = x(t)+x(t) for even functions and if x(t) is even then x(t) + x(t) would be even. As for odd functions the definition of an odd function is for an f(x), -f(x)=f(-x) and therefore x(t)+x(-t) = 0 for an odd function which is technically even. 2) Yes I believe so assuming you...- jvclark2
