The problem is: A phone company charges this amount for the first minute and that amount for each additional minute. If someone talks for 3.1 minutes, they are charged for 4 minutes. Make a formula, blah blah blah...

I found the formula for the period of a pendulum:

T: Time
L: Length of Pendulum
g: Gravitational Force

I understand how trigonometry is related to the Unit Circle, but is there any way I can relate the same concept to circles with a radius other than 1?
