so do i use a electromagnet (solenoid) n get current thru it to generate a magnetic field? but i dun get how i cud know the exact value of B >.<"

[FONT=Century Gothic]to calibrate a hall probe, i know we have to generate a known magnetic filed strength (B)...but how?? Is there an equation relating the "B" with measurable currents, etc? Thanks for helping guyz!
