Okay i am gonig to ask stupid question and that is if person does bachelor degree in applied physics/ engineering physics then he would he still able to do research [phd] in astronomy related areas?

If you consider turkey as european country then over there are 4 main universites in which physics is taught in english. 1. Middle east technical university 2. Bogazici University 3. Bilkent University 4. Koc university

So you are saying that if someone wants to do dual degree in physics with engineering it should be electrical engieering rather than mechanical?

How about MIT? Is it good grad school for astronomy

Even I tried to search for free publications but no luck except for arxiv. I would love to know other free publication websites but I rather doubt there other free publication websites of physics besides arxiv

So is it bad idea to do double majors in mechanical engineering and physics
