How do mathematicians and engineers differ in their work and training?
I'm almost done my first year in engineering and there's been very little proofs. My profs will do the proofs but I haven't had to do any myself, except in Linear Algebra. And even there it's usually just 1 question each assignment and test.

I just failed the Physics GRE, now what?
No curving whatsoever in my math class (it really depends on the prof). What you get is what you get.

Happening at my school too. 49% average on a math exam and no curving because someone got 89%.

University fpr Engineering Physics in an english speaking country
Don't know much about it, but the University of Alberta (in Canada) has an Engineering Physics course. You might want to look into it.
