High School Why can't a rocket continue to travel without fuel?
That reminds me of Rosetta... ;-) -
High School Why can't a rocket continue to travel without fuel?
that does make sense..what I was wondering about is that why don't we send spacecraft s to remote planets, citing the cost of fuel? -
High School Why can't a rocket continue to travel without fuel?
then why do we need fuel (other than initial fuel) to get to far away planets? Why can't we just propel our rocket in right direction and leave it to move at constant speed after it runs out of fuel?? -
High School Why can't a rocket continue to travel without fuel?
By Newton's first law of motion, every object will continue to be in state of movement or rest, until acted upon by external force. Now, why can't a rocket continue to travel after it was initially thrusted (do not know if its right word) by fuel ? like a satellite that is set in orbit with some... -
AC current through AC equipment
And what is the point of having AC in the first place? Why don't we use DC for everything...??- RAHIL008

AC current through AC equipment
I wonder if AC current follows Sin wave and go through negative and positive cycles alternately, why don't AC equipments, like a bulb, get off and on - off and on...- RAHIL008

Undergrad Why Is Binary Modulation Preferred in Visible Light Communication?
Hmm...got it...thanks :-) -
Undergrad Why Is Binary Modulation Preferred in Visible Light Communication?
I guess that is because "electronics" are made to handle lower frequencies of radio waves. Why cannot we make compatible electronics.? the question is, can we modulate light? Handling is different issue. -
Undergrad Why Is Binary Modulation Preferred in Visible Light Communication?
I read that for VLC, they use toggling the LEDs ON/OFF to represent binaries. Why cannot we modulate the visible light like radio waves. -
High School Perception of far object that is in motion
Why do objects that are distant and moving appear to be moving slowly than the objects that are close? -
Undergrad Find Direction Between 2 Points: A & B
Suppose I have two points A and B, of which I know latitudes and longitudes. Now I want to calculate the direction of A with respect to B. How would I calculate that?- RAHIL008

High School What Happens to Water Level When Ice Melts in a Beaker?
Ok,I got it, if ice would have been denser than water(like a stone or something), it would have sunk. But do you want to say that that virtue of ice being lesser dense does not affect the fact of Archimedes principle? But I think that Archimedes principle applies only to an object of particular... -
High School What Happens to Water Level When Ice Melts in a Beaker?
Sir first thought that comes in my mind is that level should remain intact as volume displaced by ice cube will be compensated by the water in it(Archimedes principle). But at second thought, i heard that ice is lesser dense than water, in that case level should come down. But why ice is lesser... -
High School Gravitational Force: What Keeps Two Bodies From Colliding?
If two heavenly bodies are attracted towards each other by gravitational pull, then what stops them from colliding, as in Earth is attracted by sun's pull.- RAHIL008
