The Boas book suggested is really excellent. Most math courses you might end up taking are going to teach you a bunch of really silly math theory, which may or may not, with emphasis on may not, ever help you in actual physics. After calc you would be better off trying to find a good physics...

I used to take notes, but then realized I never looked at them, so I stopped. I find when I take notes I end up shutting off the other parts of my brain used to actually think about the lecture.

I applied to five of these last year as junior and went 0 for 5, I only had like a 3.2 gpa though.
