Is this officer checking his radar gun calibration incorrectly?

Perhaps they turn it this way and that and accept the best result to eliminate angular effects in how it is held?

Is this officer checking his radar gun calibration incorrectly?

Perhaps a boring reason like the officer is eyeing the fork to see when the initial chaotic clang vibration has dropped; then he turns it side on. Also it is media so "Oh the picture doesn't look so good that way just turn it a bit... There that's better!"

Formula for Total Line current of Schedule of Load

If this is a max demand question? You will need to tell us where the job is as there will be a standard to follow

I wonder whether the load problem was more from the dimmer? Same solution antway. :)

Just curious. Why do you need to measure the resistance of these pins?

Designing a Stepped Attenuator Using Pin Diode Switches in Microwave Office

Hmm there is more to your PIN doide than I thought! I need to learn a little too. (the following link directly opens a PDF linked from wikipedia) http://www.microsemi.com/micnotes/701.pdf" is what I am looking at.

Designing a Stepped Attenuator Using Pin Diode Switches in Microwave Office

sounds like you need a multilayer semi conductor device like a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TRIAC" . It can conduct for the positive or negative half cycles simply by firing the gate. Bias is the tendency for a diode to conduct better with the current flowing in one direction as opposed to...

    Resistance measurement (4wire)

Hi spid3rx, I have never used that multimeter and the manual is a 9MB download! could the multimeter be taking a little time to correct for lead resistance? How long does it take to drop? Does it drop to an eventual consistent result?

Launch a Ping Pong Ball with a Planar Bistable Mechanism: Step-by-Step Guide

For my project I used a rat trap ballista (so called catapult) To get the energy Iwas suposed to use Mohr's circle because of the orientation of the spring. But you should be able to use the energy version of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hooke%27s_law" law. The way I cheated my lecturer was to...

Understanding Gravitational Time Dilation in Classical Mechanics

Just had a look http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravitational_time_dilation" . There is something of a resemblance but I don't appear to be right. However there must be something to be learned from this.

Understanding Gravitational Time Dilation in Classical Mechanics

The whole reason for my self study is in order to relearn SR and learn GR in an initial manner. The notation conventions and clear thinking were an issue so I turned back to classical mechanics. I have gotten distracted from this agenda on another forum and have been looking again at SR. I have...

Understanding Gravitational Time Dilation in Classical Mechanics

I am now up to pp 20 of Chow's book. I am puzzled as the text states for cylindrical coordinates that \hat r =p\hat e_p +z\hat e_z . But I thought that any 3D coordinate system needed three dimensions. Should the above have been \hat r =p\hat e_p +z\hat e_z+\phi e_...
