Misc. Experimenting with Plasma: Is it Safe?

I want to make ball lighting you can make that in your microwave, but what I am gona do is do it out side and run a extention lead so you can be a safe distance, then only have it going for a few seconds.. oh yeh and probily use a old microwave and also put a cd in it, make's the cd turn all awsum

    Drag coefficient PVC over water

With HP its just the output from the engine, the formula is just to give you a idea of the speed the boat can travel at so it is saying if you can get the output of the engine and the displacement of the boat so as in how much the boat has to go through the water and then the constant... its...

    Drag coefficient PVC over water

constant of about 180 for cruisers I am not sure for others though but you just need to make C the subject ..

    Drag coefficient PVC over water

this formula is really handy and it might help this formula is called Crouch's formula V=C/((disp/HP)**.5) V=the boat speed in knotes ( 1 knot is about 1.15 ) C= the constant disp= displacement in pounds and hp= hourse power i hope it help's you should beable to change it around

Energy required to keep air in a plasma state

You can make a type of plasma called ball lightning in your own microwave how ever they have not managed to keep it controlled long enough to study it, if you wish to find out how exactly go to google and type in ball lightning, it is well worth doing

How can I calculate the range and trajectory of a ping pong ball launcher?

Well i know that if you make it as a orange gun, and you fired a orange the orange would get to speeds of about 300km/h and travel 1km there abouts, but that is using a internal combustion. Any way would'nt the line of fire be fairly linear? so you could just graph it.
