heusdens - Nice post that was brilliant. I think to really understand this whole topic it's a good idea to take a course on beginning philosophy. I took a class last semester and ever since then everything has become so much clearer.

If you are saying that everything must have had a cause, including the big bang, then what caused God? And if nothing caused God, then isn't it simpler just to say nothing caused the big bang? As far as we know, nothing caused the big bang. The big bang was the beginning of space and time, so...
