    Dear Frogpad, thank you for the reply. As far as i know if x(t)\delta(t) , the answer is x(t) at t=0, i.e x(0). isn't it? So, do we need to consider x(0) as a constant convolve with z(t) then? it doesn't seem right to me. zai
