I don't know what's scarier in that video, his hair or those platform shoes. :bugeye:[/QUOTE]
   I probably played that 45 a thousand times. I still have it.
I haven't made it through everything posted yet so forgive any duplicates, but a few more favorites of mine

I think Ian Anderson [Jethro Tull] is incredible! One of my favorite songs is the title song for "Too Old To Rock 'n' Roll: Too Young To Die". Even though I've seen this album trashed as one of his worst, I think some of the songs are great. There was a link for two songs - Quizz Kid and Crazed Institution, with an intro using the title song.

Some years ago I saw Anderson interviewed at his home in England. He farms sheep and trout, and he comes off as a very ordinary English sheep farmer and a motivated horticulturist [appropriate to the bands name]. But when the man gets on stage in his home studio, he transforms into this hard rock powerhouse. He is quite an amazing guy.

Sunrise, Sunset - Fiddler on the Roof
When Tsu and I got married, this was one of songs chosen for our wedding - played on a harp. My grandmother was dying, and only with great effort on everyone's part did she make it to the wedding of her first born grandchild. She died while we were on our honeymoon. So, obviously, this song will always have special meaning to Tsu and I.

Is this the little girl I carried?
Is this the little boy at play?
(Golde)
I don't remember growing older
When did they?
(Tevye)
When did she get to be a beauty?
When did he get to be so tall?
(Golde)
Wasn't it yesterday
When they were small?
(Men)
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly flow the days
Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers
Blossoming even as we gaze
(Women)
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly fly the years
One season following another
Laden with happiness and tears
(Tevye)
What words of wisdom can I give them?
How can I help to ease their way?
(Tevye)
Now they must learn from one another
Day by day
(Perchik)
They look so natural together
(Hodel)
Just like two newlyweds should be
(Perchik & Hodel)
Is there a canopy in store for me?
(All)
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly flow the days
Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers
Blossoming even as we gaze
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly fly the years
One season following another
Laden with happiness and tears[/quote]

We saw the opening of this in Los Angeles. It was SPECTACULAR! I don't care for this phantom [linked] as much as the original - Michael Crawford.
