News What a jerk (cont'd from General Physics)

SUMMARY

The discussion centers around the concept of "constant jerk" in physics, specifically referencing the GWB (George W. Bush) force, which is described as a steady-state force that exhibits characteristics of a constant jerk phenomenon. Participants debate the implications of this force, linking it to the concept of Gravity Wave Breaking, which remains unclear to some contributors. The conversation highlights the intersection of political terminology and physical concepts, illustrating the confusion surrounding the definitions and applications of these forces.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of basic physics concepts, particularly forces and motion.
  • Familiarity with the term "constant jerk" in the context of physics.
  • Knowledge of Gravity Wave Breaking and its implications in physics.
  • Awareness of political terminology and its metaphorical use in scientific discussions.
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the principles of Gravity Wave Breaking and its relevance in fluid dynamics.
  • Explore the concept of constant jerk in kinematics and its mathematical representation.
  • Investigate the historical context and implications of the GWB force in both physics and political discourse.
  • Study the effects of shock waves in physics and their applications in various fields.
USEFUL FOR

Physics students, educators, and anyone interested in the intersection of scientific concepts and political terminology, particularly those exploring the implications of forces in both theoretical and practical contexts.

but that does not work, I need net force.
in other words, I only care whether or not a constant jerk can exist.
The only one that comes to mind is the GWB force. It was thought to be of relatively short duration but has demonstrated a much longer lasting effect. The phenomenon itself seems to defy physics (and science altogether). Although GWB is touted by those closest to it, to be a steady-state or "stay the course" force, most would categorize it as a constant jerk phenomenon.

do you think you could tell me about this GWB force?

It is generated by "shock and awww". It has also been associated with nucular forces in some countries that are aligned along an axis of evil.

Could you be referring to the George W. Bush force?

could it meant ? Gravity Wave Breaking

Not sure what Gravity Wave Breaking force is. Care to explain?

I think he might have been talking about this : http://www.nersc.gov/news/annual_reports/annrep98/prusa.html

I seem to have my jerks confused...

I am very slow. hehe.
