AAPT Conferences (2026,2027)

The AAPT has scheduled its upcoming conferences for 2026 and 2027, including the Winter Meeting in Las Vegas from January 17-19, 2026, and the Summer Meeting in Pasadena from July 18-22, 2026. The 2027 Winter Meeting will take place in New Orleans from January 9-12, and the Summer Meeting will be held in Washington, DC, from July 31 to August 4. Important deadlines include the abstract submission by September 12, 2025, and poster submission by November 3, 2025. Additionally, various sectional meetings are available for participation. I won't be attending the 2026 Winter Meeting in Las Vegas... For me, it's too close to the start of the semester.

Okay, so this is something I have been thinking about for a long time, because it's something I am passionate about and something that has personally affected me - and that's the generally negative attitude that people take towards physics. I think it's fair to say that the secondary (Middle+ High) school that I go to is one of the most elite in the country - yet I am yet to see another person with a passion for physics. There are countless who have dedicated their life to Chemistry...
