My son recently graduated from a Coding Academy here in NorCal (right at the start of the Pandemic, so job searching was extra challenging), but he did several projects and some volunteering at coding seminars for young people to help build up what he could show during his interviews. He's mid-20's and found a great job that he's currently very happy with. I doubt that an extra 5 years would have made any difference in his hiring process. [/QUOTE]
