How can the pool be allowed to get in such a state? Part and parcel of having a pool is that it should be a safe place, how is a life guard meant to be able to do their job if they cannot see into the pool? Very sad story that could have been avoided.

no, it was at the bottom, 12 feet down …

it only came to the surface when it became bloated "a couple of days" later :redface:
