MATLAB Analyzing Graphs with Simulink and Laplace Transforms

AI Thread Summary
The discussion revolves around using Simulink to generate a graph pattern and applying Laplace transforms to solve an initial value problem. Participants emphasize the importance of plotting the solution obtained from the Laplace transform and comparing it to the graph generated in Simulink. There is a focus on ensuring the accuracy of the results, with one participant noting discrepancies in the solution when evaluated at 0.5 seconds. The need for clear visual representation of the results is highlighted, as well as the necessity to verify that images display correctly for effective comparison.

the question goes like this:

the first part asks to utilize simulink to obtain the graph pattern:

the second part requires us to make use of laplace transform and inverse laplace transform to solve the initial value problem:

the third part asks us to compare both the results and comment, but how do i compare them

i'm not sure if the images could display or not, sorry
let me know if the images don't display, thanks

Compare means plot the second part's solution and compare it with the previous plot. And your solution does not seem correct with looking at it 0.5 seconds. So i didn't check.
