Simulating a bushing joint in Ansys W14 to conduct heat between two parts is feasible through a coupled physics analysis. This setup allows for a cylindrical support condition in structural analysis while implementing a thermal contact condition for heat conduction. Different physics regimes can utilize varying contact conditions without needing uniformity. A specific command, "keyopt, cid,1, 2," can be added to ensure the contact only has temperature degrees of freedom. This approach effectively combines bonded contact with temperature DOF and the bushing joint for successful simulation.
