I am attempting to devise an experiment to test exactly how successfully plasma can be manipulated by a natural magnet. Ideally, the gas to be ionized would be isolated in a vacuum tube, where it would be subjected to easily producible electromagnetic waves, either microwaves or ultraviolet radiation. Now, while I could do a series of smaller experiments to determine which combination of waves and gas to use, I know how to internet and I love people, so I am asking you. And no, I'm not some kid asking for homework help. I just do this stuff just for fun.

You have not actually asked a question.
Why not read up on the subject before demanding the time of others, to not answer a question.
