The upcoming Guru Awards have sparked lively discussions about humor and nominations, with participants expressing a desire for more fun and creativity in the lead-up to the event. There's a consensus that humor seems to be lacking, prompting calls for members to step up their game. Chocolates are humorously suggested as bribes for nominations, and various members are playfully vying for awards, including the "Funniest Member Award." The conversation touches on the nature of humor—whether it is innate or influenced by environment—while also debating potential nominees, with names like Artman, Danger, and Tribdog frequently mentioned. Some participants express concern about the lack of strong candidates this year, suggesting that humor may have diminished. A lighthearted tone prevails, with jokes and playful banter about the awards and the potential for bribery, ensuring that the spirit of fun remains central to the discussions.

Hmm...let's see, Evo, what did we agree we would offer this hour? It was banning, wasn't it?

It's a group consisting of moonbear, evo, tsu, honestrosewater, SOS2008 and someone else I think.. (I can't think of you all ) And basically if you don't give 'em chocolates you get banned.

why is this NOT on wikipedia?

Wait, no need to be too hasty!

Yomamma left MIH off the list! She's our sharp shooter. Tsu is our transportation specialist (i.e., she drives the supersonic RV...she's the only one who can parallel park that thing). Evo is our leader; she decides which missions we'll accept. SOS handles reconnaissance in her turbo charged wheelchair (nobody ever suspects a nun in a wheelchair). HRW is one of our newer recruits, so she's still in training and awaiting permanent assignment. I handle tactical. Oh, and when she's around, Recon is a cadet; we have every confidence that once she graduates, she'll move up the ranks quickly in our intelligence office.

oooh, a costly mistake. It may take a Fauchon gift basket to repair this little oversight.

We also have a Sister Kerrie, but she's on leave right now. Having a pregnant nun in the group was too suspicious. But she'll be back with us shortly at least on a part-time basis, I hope. :approve:

When I first opened this page today, 2 of the 3 ads inside the top margin were for chocolate (Luxury Dark and CCBerries). Is there a subtle message here?

Anyone persistent enough should be able to find a way to email gift coupons.

If I were you, Evo, I wouldn't be too quick to give out diplomatic immunity until he can prove that he can make a chocolate souffle.

:)

Excellent point Zz! Perhaps a raspberry coulis to go with it.

Last Christmas I sent out Fudge to some of my internet lady friends. This year I wanted to try out the Chocolate Guinness Brownies recipe I found. I need to figure out where I can buy godiva chocolate around here though.
If I am able to get the made and figure out how to keep them fresh in transport feel free to send me your adress and I will mail you some. Last year I sent my packages with two or three day delivery so that they wouldn't go bad or get too melty before they arrived.
