Homework Statement



A car travels at a constant speed around a circular track whose radius is 2.63 km. The car goes once around the track in 353 s. What is the magnitude of the centripetal acceleration of the car?

Homework Equations



A=V^2/r C=1/2(pi)R^2


The Attempt at a Solution


I have no clue where to start on this question

Don't think this should be in the 'advanced physics' section!

The speed of the car will be the circumference of the track, divided by the time it takes for the car to go around once. You've written down the formula for centripetal acceleration a=v^2/r so plug in the values and out pops the answer!
