Converting 9.6V DC Voltage for AVR Oscilloscope

Just a quick glance at the schematic, the 12V DC supply input goes directly to 7805 5V voltage regulator. That means you get apply 9.6V DC supply to it without any problems. The only issue is that 12V is tapped by a 8.1V zener regulator for the op-amp front end. Kind of too high, so I'd replace it with like 6.2V zener and adjust the pot P1.
