[Mentor Note: This subthread has been split off from the thread about Dr. Leila Denmark, who is not Danish]

I must admit that since I'm from Denmark, Danish scientists are especially interesting to me. And since meeting @TensorCalculus on here I notice women of the trade more than before. Here's one, although it's not exactly news. I'm also not sure what the practical applications are. OTOH all research is worthwhile IMHO:

I didn’t catch that myself until I read her Wikipedia page.

My subset comment was about the links to the two Wikipedia pages I posted.
