Discover the Best Technology for Your Lighting Needs: LED vs Induction Lights

Click For Summary
SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the comparison between LED and induction lighting technologies. LED lights are recognized for their low power consumption and high output, making them a popular choice. Induction lights, which utilize magnetic coupling and lack electrodes, offer longevity but come at a higher initial cost, approximately $50 per bulb. Recent advancements in LED technology, particularly OLET LEDs, have demonstrated efficiency levels twice that of OLEDs, indicating a significant leap in performance.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of LED technology and its applications
  • Knowledge of induction lighting principles and magnetic coupling
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency metrics in lighting
  • Awareness of recent advancements in lighting technologies, specifically OLET and OLED
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the efficiency and applications of OLET LEDs
  • Explore the long-term cost benefits of induction lighting
  • Investigate the environmental impact of LED versus induction lighting
  • Learn about the latest innovations in energy-efficient lighting technologies

What's an iinduction light?

Induction lights don't have any electrodes and so energy is induced via magnetic coupling.

They have last for a very long time.Wow, one induction bulb cost around $50 bucks.
