Discussion Overview

The discussion revolves around the functionality of a specific engine, with participants questioning its operation and energy input. The scope includes conceptual inquiries about the type of engine and its potential capabilities, particularly regarding lift.

Discussion Character

  • Debate/contested, Conceptual clarification

Main Points Raised

  • Some participants inquire about the energy input of the engine to assess its functionality.
  • There are suggestions that the engine could be either a gasoline engine or an electric motor.
  • One participant expresses skepticism, suggesting it may be a reactionless drive, which they claim is forbidden by the laws of physics.
  • Clarification is sought regarding the term "lift," with a distinction made between spacecraft lift and other interpretations.
  • Another participant notes that discussions about certain topics, like reactionless drives, are not permitted on the forum.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Participants express differing views on the nature of the engine and its compliance with physical laws. There is no consensus on whether the engine functions properly or what type it is.

Contextual Notes

The discussion includes unresolved questions about the engine's energy input and the definition of "lift." There are references to forum rules regarding certain topics, which may limit the scope of the discussion.

can't tell from this picture.
What is the energy input of the engine?

I want to know if it has a lift or not?

Looks to me like a reactionless drive. Forbidden by the laws of physics. And discussion here is forbidden as well.

If you mean lift as in spacecraft , then @jbriggs4russ correct. That is a forbidden topic on PF, so thread closed.

If you mean something else, send me a PM message, and I may reopen it.
