Final Year Project EET: Ideas Wanted

AI Thread Summary
For a final year project in electronics engineering technology, it's essential to focus on personal interests and strengths. Investigating problems previously studied can provide a solid foundation for project ideas. One proposed project involves building a Bluetooth FM transmitter for a car, enabling hands-free phone access, text notifications on an external display, and music capabilities through AUX and Bluetooth. This project will consist of two main components: the transmitter and the Bluetooth functionality. To move forward, it's recommended to consult with a supervisor to identify suitable projects, draft a proposal outlining the project's scope and methodology, and conduct a literature review to gain a deeper understanding of the topic. These steps will help clarify the project direction and ensure a structured approach.

I am looking for any ideas for my final year project for my electronics engineering technology course...

Please let me know some of your ideas

where to start!

Investigate something you are interested in!

What problems did you study that you think might be worth looking at in more depth?
What did you enjoy?
What were you good at?

I do have one idea...
In my car is just a basic radio+Cd player. I would like to build a Fm transmitter with Bluetooth for hands free phone access (calling and receiving texts on an external display and having music capabilities AUX and bluetooth)

I know this project will have 2 main parts the transmitter and the Bluetooth part... If anyone can give me any advice regarding either that would be really great! :)

The first step (after the list above) will be to talk to your supervisor about what possible projects are suitable;
Then write up a short proposal about what you are going to do, how you expect to do it.
Then you need to undertake a literature review.

Doing these things will really help you get a grip on your project.

guys i am currently studying in computer science engineering [1st yr]. i was intrested in physics when i was in high school. due to some circumstances i chose computer science engineering degree. so i want to incoporate computer science engineering with physics and i came across computational physics. i am intrested studying it but i dont know where to start. can you guys reccomend me some yt channels or some free courses or some other way to learn the computational physics.
I'm going to make this one quick since I have little time. Background: Throughout my life I have always done good in Math. I almost always received 90%+, and received easily upwards of 95% when I took normal-level HS Math courses. When I took Grade 9 "De-Streamed" Math (All students must take "De-Streamed" in Canada), I initially had 98% until I got very sick and my mark had dropped to 95%. The Physics teachers and Math teachers talked about me as if I were some sort of genius. Then, an...
Bit Britain-specific but I was wondering, what's the best path to take for A-Levels out of the following (I know Y10 seems a bit early to be thinking about A-levels, but my choice will impact what I do this year/ in y11) I (almost) definitely want to do physics at University - so keep that in mind... The subjects that I'm almost definitely going to take are Maths, Further Maths and Physics, and I'm taking a fast track programme which means that I'll be taking AS computer science at the end...
