AI Thread Summary
Hexane, MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone), and EA (Ethyl Acetate) densities at 40 degrees Celsius are sought after, but finding reliable data can be challenging. A suggestion was made to search online, but the original poster indicated difficulty in locating specific densities at that temperature. A response provided a potential resource for MEK, noting that while it lacks primary source citations, it appears reliable. For hexane, a source was mentioned that includes references to primary data, along with a link to a more comprehensive properties database, which could be beneficial for further research.

I need hexane, MEK and EA densities at 40 degrees. Do you know a good database where to find them?

Have you tried Googling these compounds?

Dear SteamKing,
Sure I did. However, it is very hard to find them at 40°C.

Try here :

MEK Does not quote primary source for data but seems ok .

HEXANE Has references to primary data sources . Note also link given to more extensive properties database .
