Calculators Finding Maxima and Minima with TI-89

AI Thread Summary
The TI-89 Titanium calculator can be used to analyze the equation f(x)=2x^3-15x^2+36x-1 for local maxima, minima, and inflection points. While the calculator has the capability to perform these calculations, utilizing specific programs can enhance its functionality and ease of use. Resources for relevant programs are available on ticalc.org, which can assist in effectively leveraging the calculator's Computer Algebra System (CAS) for this purpose.
