Fluorescent Lamp/ plasma experiment

  1. Sep 9, 2010 #1
I have a undergrad college class where we have to do some sort of experiment and we were gonna try this one

Is a vacuum chamber required? The article states it's inexpensive and we're trying to figure out how difficult it would be.

We want to do something involving plasma but aren't sure if this would be a good idea or where to find other ideas to work with.

    Not bad- looks like fun!

It doesn't appear that a vacuum chamber is required, and unless you guys have *zero* lab experience, it appears very reasonable.
