SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the nature of magnetic and electric flux vectors produced by a single electron (e-). It establishes that an electron generates a continuous vector field rather than a discrete number of force vectors. The analogy of counting numbers between 0 and 1 is employed to illustrate the impossibility of quantifying vectors in a continuous field, emphasizing the distinction between force vectors and scalar quantities like flux density.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of electromagnetic theory
  • Familiarity with vector fields
  • Knowledge of scalar quantities in physics
  • Basic principles of electron behavior in fields
NEXT STEPS
  • Explore the concept of continuous vector fields in electromagnetism
  • Study the differences between force vectors and scalar quantities
  • Investigate the behavior of electrons in magnetic and electric fields
  • Learn about flux density and its applications in physics
USEFUL FOR

Physicists, electrical engineers, and students studying electromagnetism who seek to deepen their understanding of vector fields and the behavior of electrons in various fields.

How many magnetic/electric flux vector one e- can produce? Only one or many? (Here I mean flux as force vectors and not a scalar quantity like in flux density.)

You can't count vectors in a continuous vector field. That's like asking "how many numbers between 0 and 1?"
