Calculators Getting Fractions on TI Nspire CX - Eigenvectors & Polynomial Roots

Click For Summary
SUMMARY

The TI Nspire CX calculator does not natively provide an option to display eigenvector values as fractions instead of decimals. Users have reported similar issues with polynomial roots also returning decimal values. While some settings adjustments have been attempted, they have not yielded the desired results. A potential solution involves downloading a specific library that may assist in formatting outputs, although its effectiveness for eigenvector values remains uncertain.

PREREQUISITES
  • Familiarity with TI Nspire CX calculator functionalities
  • Understanding of eigenvectors and polynomial roots in linear algebra
  • Basic knowledge of calculator settings and configurations
  • Experience with downloading and installing calculator libraries
NEXT STEPS
  • Research how to download and install libraries on the TI Nspire CX
  • Explore the settings menu for output formatting options on the TI Nspire CX
  • Learn about the implications of using libraries for advanced calculations
  • Investigate community forums for additional tips on displaying fractions
USEFUL FOR

Students and educators using the TI Nspire CX for linear algebra, particularly those needing to display eigenvectors and polynomial roots in fractional form.

Hey so I'm new to my TI nspire cx, still getting the hang of it. I've been trying to figure out how to get my eigenvector values to be fractions instead of decimals when I calculate them on here. Also, when I find the polynomial roots I get back decimals instead of fractions. I would like to know how to get back fractions instead for both cases. I've fiddled with a few things in the settings, but no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers!

I am having a hell of a time finding a good all-in-one inkjet printer. I must have gone through 5 Canon, 2 HP, one Brother, one Epson and two 4 X 6 photo printers in the last 7 yrs. all have all sort of problems. I don't even know where to start anymore. my price range is $180-$400, not exactly the cheapest ones. Mainly it's for my wife which is not exactly good in tech. most of the problem is the printers kept changing the way it operate. Must be from auto update. I cannot turn off the...
