AI Thread Summary
Grammarly has stopped functioning in the text section of posts, although it still works in titles. Users are experiencing issues where Grammarly incorrectly inserts suggestions, leading to confusion and frustration. Some have found that Grammarly works fine in Safari but not in the latest version of Chrome, which may be causing compatibility problems. There are suggestions to contact Grammarly for support, as the issue seems to stem from a conflict between Chrome and Grammarly's latest updates. Overall, users are seeking a resolution to restore Grammarly's functionality in their text fields.

I've been running into issues with Grammarly, hosing my posts occasionally.

It would highlight a sentence, suggest a better version, and then somehow sub it into the wrong part of the sentence. It almost seems like a race condition, where I somehow moved the cursor while it was trying to update the sentence.

and here's an example of something I just typed and grammarly hosed up the insertion of text. I originally typed: "the mouse is moving all over the place."
It's like the VNC experience, where you're in a battle for control with someone else using the mouse on the machine you're logged into. It's a struggle to get anything done when the mouse is movingace all over the pl.

I have seen that too.

This however is grammarly not working at all.

Thanks
Bill

Tried it all.

However my Chrome is .70 not .60. It obviously automatically updated. I suspect that is the problem.

Thanks

Tried everything.

Out of desperation tried it with Safari instead of Chrome.

Worked fine.

Greg may need to contact Google why it no longer works with the lastest version of Chrome on Mac.

Will try to get by using Safari in the interim.

Thanks
Bill

There is a battle brewing between Chrome and Safari. Google has been actively trying to get people to switch, and Apple has been fighting it.

Thanks - good to know.

But this sure is not helping Chrome.

Thanks
