SUMMARY

This discussion focuses on the transient heat transfer modeling using electrical analogies, specifically highlighting the importance of thermic capacity in materials that accumulate heat. The user seeks advanced resources beyond basic literature to better understand this concept. Recommended references include "A Heat Transfer Textbook" by Lienhard IV and V, "Wärme und Stoffübertragung" by Baehr and Stephan, and "Principles of Heat Transfer" by Kaviany. These texts provide in-depth insights into heat transfer principles applicable to transient conditions.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of transient heat transfer concepts
  • Familiarity with electrical analogies in thermal systems
  • Knowledge of thermic capacity and its implications in material science
  • Basic principles of heat transfer
NEXT STEPS
  • Research advanced transient heat transfer modeling techniques
  • Explore electrical analogies in thermal systems
  • Study the thermic capacity of materials in heat transfer applications
  • Review case studies on heat accumulation in transient conditions
USEFUL FOR

Hallo,

I have been trying to find some bibliography about this issue, but all what I found it is very simple and always discarding the effect of the Thermic Capacity of the elements.

I have to work with matherials which operate in transient conditions and which have parts which accumulate heat. I know I should modelate this as a condensator in the electrical equivalent but I would like to consult examples or deeper information about this issue.

Do you know any book, paper, webpage that I can consult in this direction?

Thank you very much in advance.
