AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on seeking help with trigonometry fundamentals and the appropriate forum for posting homework questions. Participants emphasize the importance of posting in the designated homework section of the Physics Forums for effective assistance. There is a clarification regarding the terminology of "precalculus" versus "calculus," noting that the distinction is based on the presence of derivatives. Users are encouraged to share their attempts at solving the problem to facilitate better guidance. Concerns about posting questions that may fall below the precalculus level are addressed, with reassurance that threads can be relocated if necessary.

Will it be ok eventhough it is below precal?
The wording "precalculus" and "calculus" isn't perfect. It's pretty easy: if it has a derivative it's calculus and if not it's precalculus. But we can move wrongly located threads, so don't put too much thought in it.
