SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the need for resources related to electrohydrodynamics (EHD), specifically for a thesis project involving the fabrication of EHD pumps. The user, a Mechanical Engineering student, expresses confusion regarding the fundamental principles of EHD pump theory and seeks recommendations for relevant books and references. Two specific articles are shared as potential resources, highlighting the importance of accessing scholarly literature to gain a deeper understanding of EHD concepts.

PREREQUISITES
  • Basic understanding of electrohydrodynamics (EHD)
  • Familiarity with pump design and operation
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics principles
  • Access to academic databases for research articles
NEXT STEPS
  • Research "Electrohydrodynamic Pump Theory" for foundational knowledge
  • Explore "EHD Pump Design" techniques and methodologies
  • Review scholarly articles on EHD applications in fluid dynamics
  • Investigate "IEEE Xplore" and "Wiley Online Library" for relevant publications
USEFUL FOR

Mechanical engineering students, researchers in fluid dynamics, and professionals interested in the design and application of electrohydrodynamic pumps.

I am having my thesis on electrohydrodynamics aka EHD given by my lecture/mentor and I don't know where to start

I am now a Mech Eng. student but I am still new to this EHD things. My mentor is not right here know and the most probebly I need help from you guys here. I am trying to look for books and references that reated to EHD however I only ended up with confusion.

My main task is to fabricate to working EHD pumps, I had found confusions about how the EHD pumps really working. The most difficult thing is I had no appropriate books to study this basic theory of EHD pump theory.

Anyone who can help me here. I need to know what kind of books and references that can help me.

Thanks.
