Help regarding hybrid power systems

I have been given a topic called 'Protection schemes for hybrid power systems' as an assignment and i have to prepare for a seminar on it. Can anyone help me with what the topic means as in is it electrical protection or physical protection and so on? Can you also please give any info regarding the resources on this topic? It seems odd that you'd be given a seminar topic that you have absolutely no idea about.
