How did you find PF?

Hi all,

I'm Riley, a current PhD student studying chemistry(?!). My project concerns mainly Raman spectroscopy, so my interests do not align with the average wet chemist.

When I wake up in the morning, I think about my botique Raman system (and the issues I must resolve!), one that I inherited from a former postdoc.

Besides that, I enjoy typical art, hiking and cooking.

Nice to meet you all.

Welcome! That sounds incredibly interesting to me. I'm an autodidact retired programmer with interests in physics and chemistry. I've bragged about building a Raman Spectrometer to the point that if I don't do something soon (apparently, for some reason, establising a company, building a smithy and setting up a website doesn't really count), I'll be the laughing stock of a flock of douchebags I don't really care about.... Hmmm, that sentence lost some tempo. I'm not talking about the people on here but the people in my daily life (which I of course do care about but they are a bunch of douchebags (nice douches but still).

So I hope I can ask you questions should they arise?! :woot:
